From Roofing to Numbers: My Journey into Bookkeeping
It all began with my husband's roofing business, where I gained firsthand insight into the challenges of managing both operations and finances. As I delved into assisting with bookkeeping tasks, I discovered a fascination for numbers and financial intricacies that ignited a passion within me.
Driven by this newfound passion, I embarked on a journey of learning and growth. I enrolled in college to obtain a bookkeeper's certificate, eager to formalize my skills and knowledge. Through dedication and hard work, I progressed to working through designation levels with CPB Canada, honing my expertise in the field.
Along the way, I had the privilege of working closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, including construction, trades, and small businesses. Collaborating with these clients allowed me to apply my growing expertise to help them navigate financial challenges and achieve their goals.
As my journey unfolded, the demand for my services grew, leading me to transition into full-time bookkeeping. Today, I am grateful for the opportunities that have shaped my path and look forward to continuing to support businesses on their financial journeys. 🌟
Aside from numbers, I adore spending time with Remmi, my amazing, smart, and energetic border collie. Whether it's exploring trails on my ATV or taking a walk in the woods, I find peace in the outdoors.
